• As vRealize Expert, you are responsible for developing and supporting automation solutions on the vRealize platform
• You will support, configure and maintain Blueprints, Custom properties in vRA along with maintenance, enchantment and creations of new workflows in vRO

What will you do

• Provide operation and sustainment support for the virtualization environment
• Articulate expertly solutions through written or verbal methods. Trouble shoot complex problems quickly and effectively
• Ensure virtualization systems are compliant within required security standards
• Drive the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Accountable for high level of customer happiness with service delivery
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
• Craft a service performance, usage report and respond to issue requests

Required Professional and Technical Expertise

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in VMware products – vRA / VRO
• Proficient in design, deployment, management of vSphere, VCenter, VROPS, VCAC, VRA, VCO and NSX / VMware vRealize Automation and vRealize Orchestration/ cloud and virtualization environment
• Ability to design principles and Windows Server applications
• Proven expertise of Windows OS, Active Directory domains
• Hands-on experience to install and configure vRealize suite components
• Integration experience with Puppet or Chef with VRA and VRO
• Demonstrable ability to build and configure multi-tenant environment along with debugging of vRA/vRO issues and apply fixes
• Validated experience in vRealize Operations manager and vRealize Log-insight

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise

• Working knowledge of VMware infrastructure (Vcenter, ESXIs,NSX,VSAN)
• VMware Certifications
• Ability to write in scripting languages – perl or shell
• You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
• Intuitive individual with an ability to manage change and proven time management
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publication
