Subject Matter Specialist(Agro-meteorolory) Job Opportunity in ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region purely contractual

Project: 'District Agromet Unit(DAMU)'

Essential: Post Graduation in Meteorology/Agro-meteorology/Agronomy/ Agriculture Physics/Horticulture. 

Desirable:
1 . Capability of statistical data analysis through computer software 
2. Experience in preparation of Agro-Advisory Bulletin and operation of Computer 
3. Capability of handling inter- institution assignments 
4. Preference will be given to the candidates having Agro-meteorology

No.of posts: 01 Post (UR-5, OBC-1)

Age limit: Maximum 35 years as on date of closing. Relaxable for SC/ST/OBC/Ex. Serviceman and Physically handicapped as per rule.

Pay-band:  PB-3, Rs. 15,600-39,100/- + Rs. 5,400(pre-revised)

Application Fee: Rs.200/-(Rupees two hundred)in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order only drawn in favour of Director, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Umiam. Application fee payable by SC/ST categories is Rs. 100/-(Rupees one hundred)only.

ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region (Umiam),ICAR Research Complex for North Eastern Hill Region was establised in the year 1975 by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research to provide an adequate research base for supporting agricultural development in the North Eastern Hill region of the country. It is the first institute of its kind setup by ICAR which encompasses all the disciplines of agriculture, horticulture, animal siciences, agricultural engineering, agro forestry and fishery to cater to the research needs of the tribal areas of NEH Region including Sikkim.
