Subject Matter Specialist (Agrometeorology)

No. of Post  :  01 (Gen)

Qualification  :  Post Graduate in Agrometeorology/ Meteorology/ Agronomy/ Agricultural Physics. Preference will be given to candidate with Agrometeorology qualification.

Desirable : Doctoral degree and/or NET in the relevant subject/field.

Scale of pay plus Grade pay :  Rs. 15,600-39,100/- GP Rs. 5400/- (6th CPC)

Age as on 01.12.2018 :  40 yrs

Agromet Observer

No. of Post  :  01 (Gen)

Qualification  :  Passed H.S. or equivalent examination in Science Stream.

Desirable : Knowledge about agrometeorology.

Scale of pay plus Grade pay :  Rs. 5,200-20,200/- GP-Rs. 2,000/- (6th CPC)

Age as on 01.12.2018 :  35 yrs

Application Fee : A non-refundable application fee of Rs. 300/- (Rs. Three hundred) only for the posts under the Serial No. 1 (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST candidates) and Rs. 150/- (Rs. One hundred fifty ) only for the post under the Serial No. 2 (Rs. 75/- for SC/ST candidates) should be paid by A/C payee Demand Draft drawn in favour of Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya, payable at Cooch Behar.
