Subject Matter Specialist

No. of Posts  :  05 (Animal Science-01, Agronomy-01, Soil Science-01, Horticulture-01, Fisheries-01)

Qualification :  1. Good Academic record with at least 55% marks for general category and 50% for SC/ST category at the master’s degree level in Fisheries Resource and Management, Aquaculture, Aquatic Environment Management of respective discipline from SAU/ SVU or any other recognized university. 2. NET is compulsory in concerned / Allied subject. NET is relaxed for candidates holding Ph.D degree provided it has been done with course work as prescribed by the UGC regulation 2009. The candidates with Ph.D degree without course will not qualify for NET exemption. 3. Knowledge of Kannada is mandatory.

Farm Manager

Qualification :   1. A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticultural from a recognized Agricultural University with good academic record with a minimum OGPA of Page 3 of 5 6.50/10.00 or CGPA of 2.25/4.00 or its equivalent or 55% of marks (where grade points are not in vogue). 2. A relaxation of minimum OGPA from 6.50/10.00 to 6.00/10.00 and CGPA of 2.25/4.00 to 2.00/4.00 is provided for SC/ST category (55% to 50% of marks where grade points are not in vogue). 3. Knowledge of Kannada is mandatory.

Programme Assistant

Qualification :   1. A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture / Horticultural / Agril. Engineering / Veterinary Science / Animal Science from a recognized Agricultural University with good academic record with a minimum OGPA of 6.50/10.00 or CGPA of 2.25/4.00 or its equivalent or 55% of marks (where grade points are not in vogue). 2. A relaxation of minimum OGPA from 6.50/10.00 to 6.00/10.00 and CGPA of 2.25/4.00 to 2.00/4.00 is provided for SC/ST category (55% to 50% of marks where grade points are not in vogue). 3. Knowledge of Kannada is mandatory.

Stenographer Grade-III

Qualification :   1) Must possess a degree of a recognized University established by law in India or equivalent qualification. 2) Must have passed Sr. Type-writing in English and Kannada & Sr. Shorthand examination in English and Kannada conducted by the Board of Commercial Examination Govt. of Karnataka or possess an equivalent qualification. 3) Must have good command in English and Kannada. 4) Must Possess Proficiency in computer operation as prescribed form time to time by the University.

Messenger

No. of Post  :  01

Qualification :   1) Must have passed 7th standard examination in the Kannada as one of the subject of study. 2) In service candidate currently working as D-Group Farm Labourers will be preferred.

Pay Scale :  Rs. 17000-28950

Application Fees :  The applicants have to enclose the application fees of Rs. 1000/- (in case of SC /ST / CatI Rs.500/- only) for the post of Programme Coordinator/Subject Matter Specialists and Rs.500=00 (in case of SC /ST / Cat-I Rs.250=00 only) for the posts Programme Assistant/ Farm Manager / Assistant/ Stenographer Grade-III/ Tractor Driver/Driver (LV)/Cook cum Caretaker/Messenger in the form of Bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘The Comptroller, KVAFSU, Nandinagar, Bidar’ with the period from 23.11-2018 to 22.12.2018 along with the application form.

Age Limit :  The minimum and maximum age prescribed is 18 to 40 years respectively (the maximum age limit for SC/ST/Cat-I is 40 years, 2A,2B,3A,3B is 38 years and 35 years for GM candidates) as on the last date prescribed for submission of application. However, there is no age limit for in-service candidates including MREs/DREs/Contractual/SR workers working at KVAFSU, Bidar.
