Superintending Engineer /Executive Manager /Manager (Technical) /Deputy Engineer /Lab In-charge/Office In-charge recruitment in IIT Indore
1. Superintending Engineer/ 1 Post (UR)
Essential Qualification and Experience: (a) First class degree or equivalent grade in
Engineering in relevant field from a recognized University/Institute.
(b) 15 years’ experience in relevant field as Engineer in CPWD, State PWD or Semi-Govt /
PSU/Statutory or Autonomous organization/University/Institutions of national
importance/reputed organization under central / state governments of which 8 years should be
as Executive Engineer in the GP of ` 6600/- or its equivalent or 5 years in Senior Executive
Engineer in the GP of ` 7600/- or equivalent.
# This post is to be filled on Direct Recruitment failing which on deputation or contract
basis (including short term contract).
Desirable:
a) Knowledge of Computer-aided Design (CAD) and latest Management Technology /other
relevant software.
b) Proven track record of handling construction projects/consultancy in organizations of
repute.
c) Experience of working with high tension lines, electrical maintenance planning and
execution of electrical works or civil Engineering, Designing and estimation, construction
management etc., as relevant to his/her specialization.
Pay: Pay Level: 13 (` 1,23,100 - 2,15,900/-) (Pay Scale: ` 37,400-67,000/- with Grade Pay of
` 8,700/- as per 6th CPC).
Upper age limit: 57 Years
2. Executive Manager / 2 Post (UR)
Qualification and Experience: Post Graduate degree with minimum 6 years experience in
relevant area out of which at least 3 years should be as Junior Superintendent / Manager in
Pay Level 6 (i.e. Grade Pay of ` 4200/- ) or equivalent.
Pay: Pay Level: 8 (` 47,600 - 1,51,100/-) (Pay Scale: ` 9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of
` 4,800/- as per 6th CPC).
Upper age limit: 45 Years
3. Deputy Engineer (Electrical)/ 1 Post (UR)
Qualification and Experience: Degree in Engineering relevant field with 2 years of experience
OR Diploma in engineering in relevant filed with 5 years of experience.
Pay: Pay Level: 6 (` 35,400 - 1,12,400/-) (Pay Scale: ` 9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of
` 4,200/- as per 6th CPC).
Upper age limit: 40 Years
4. Manager/ 3 Posts (UR),1 Post OBC, 1 Post (SC) & 1 Post (ST)
Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience in relevant area
as Junior Assistant / Deputy Manager in the Grade Pay of ` 2000/- or equivalent.
Pay: Pay Level: 6 (` 35,400 - 1,12,400/-) (Pay Scale: ` 9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of
` 4,200/- as per 6th CPC).
Upper age limit: 40 Years
@ Out of 3 positions published under UR category, One position is earmarked to take care of

5. Manager (Library)/ 1 Post (SC)
Qualification and Experience: Bachelor of Library / Information Science or equivalent with 4
years relevant experience. For applicants with Master’s degree in Library/ Information Science
or equivalent, the normal duration of Master’s programme would be counted towards
experience.

6. Manager (Technical)/ 4 Posts (UR),1 Post OBC & 1 Post (SC)
Qualification and Experience: BE/B.Tech./M.Sc./MCA with 5 years’ experience in relevant
(Labs relating to Engineering and Science Disciplines) area in the Grade Pay of ` 2000 or
equivalent.
Desirable: M.Tech. in relevant areas for Engineering Disciplines
$ Out of four positions mentioned in unreserved category, two positions are earmarked for
computer Centre having following desirable qualifications.
Knowledge and hands-on experience on Switching and Routing, Hardware Firewall, IPS, IDS,
NAC. Linux and Windows Server administration e.g. DNS(Bind, Microsoft),DHCP,
Web(Apache, Nginx, IIS).Virtualization(Hyper-V, VMware, RHEV),LDAP, Active Directory,
Radius. IP PBX Administration. HPC Administration, Storage (NAS and DAS),Shell Scripting.
Programming in Java Developer in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade
applications, Large scale software designing and development using JAVA, Spring and Hibernate Framework, network security, REST api building, Postgres/Oracle (Using SQL,
PLSQL and NO-SQL),Bootstrap, JSON, Angular JS2, Web and Application Server
Configuration, knowledge of Authentication and Encryption Mechanisms, SSL, Knowledge of
ERP System for Students and Hands on work experience in running a system of at least 1500
users
Pay: Pay Level: 6 (` 35,400 - 1,12,400/-) (Pay Scale: ` 9,300-34,800/- with Grade Pay of
` 4,200/- as per 6th CPC).

7. Deputy Manager/ 7 Posts (UR),2 Posts OBC, 3 Posts (SC) & 2 Posts (ST)
Qualification and Experience: Bachelor’s degree with knowledge of computer operations with
02 years of relevant experience.
Pay: Pay Level: 4 (` 25,500 - 81,100/-) (Pay Scale: ` 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay of
` 2,400/- as per 6th CPC).
$ Desirable: Out of seven (UR) posts of Deputy Manager, candidates having very good
proficiency in Hindi, English, and Translation of English to Hindi and vice versa will be given
preference for one post.

8. Deputy Manager (Lab)/ 4 Posts (UR),1 Post (OBC) & 1 Post (ST)
Qualification and Experience for Disciplines of Engineering: Diploma in Engineering of
three years duration in the relevant field with 02 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of
computer applications. B.C.A. / B.Sc. (Computer Science) in respect of Computer Science and
Engineering.
Qualification and Experience for Disciplines of Sciences: Bachelor’s Degree in Sciences
of three years duration in relevant field with two years experience.
Desirable: Postgraduate degree in respective fields of and experience in educational/research
institutes will be preferred.
Pay: Pay Level: 4 (` 25,500 - 81,100/-) (Pay Scale: ` 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay of
` 2,400/- as per 6th CPC).
Upper age limit: 35 Years
9. Lab In-charge/Office In-charge/ 1 Post (UR)
Qualification and Experience: Matric / SSLC.
Desirable: Candidates having one year relevant experience in labs/offices will be given
preference.
Pay: Pay Level: 1 (` 18,000 - 56,900/-) (Pay Scale: ` 5,200-20,200/- with Grade Pay of
` 1,800/- as per 6th CPC).
Upper age limit: 30 Years
Selection Procedure: Shortlisted candidates for written test / interview
