About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Interpret alarm signals received through automation systems (Omnipolis application),including fire, silent panic, medical, commercial trouble, and other hazardous conditions)
2. Provide accurate and timely notification of alarm signals to appropriate respondents & dispatch police, fire, ambulance, and other emergency agencies
3. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all actions taken in an automated system
4. Update daily reports, forms, and other documentation in a timely and accurate manner
5. Provide excellent customer service at all times
6. Follow company and department policies and procedures
7. Transfer calls to appropriate teams for problem escalation

Who can apply

Only those candidates can apply who:

1. are available for full time (in-office) internship

2. can start the internship between 15th Feb'21 and 22nd Mar'21

3. are available for duration of 6 months

4. have relevant skills and interests

Omnipolis emergency support operations include acting as the first point of contact to be contacted when emergency assistance is needed. They respond to emergency calls and pass the information to respective stakeholders like police, fire & ambulance to resolve the situation. OERE receives emergencies through a web application platform or calls by mobile phone. They question callers to obtain the information needed to determine an appropriate course of action.
