Job Description:

Required Technical Skills :

4-5 Years of experience in Linux/windows system administration.
Minimum 4 years of experience in Linux and windows infrastructure support.
Linux/Redhat certified system administrator.
Should have strong knowledge of Redhat/ubuntu/centos and all popular Linux flavors.
Knowledge on Storage, Networking, Firewalls and backup Applications.
Understanding & good knowledge of TCP/IP protocols.
Performance and/or network trace analysis for servers.
Problem determination and resolution within SLA’s.
Working knowledge of ticketing system.
Should be able to Perform Root Cause Analysis for the incidents.
Advanced troubleshooting skills in coordination with hosting service providers and ISP’s.
Advanced system performance troubleshooting/tuning; log files investigation skills.
SSH Key setup and troubleshooting.
Disk/LVM Management.
RAID level configuration and troubleshooting knowledge.
Working knowledge of FTP server and troubleshooting.
L2/L3 level experience in Windows Operating systems support.
Email client configuration and troubleshooting.
AV client/server configuration and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of Shell scripting to automate server jobs.
Good Knowledge of open LDAP servers.
Working knowledge of CSR generation and Trusted SSL certificate installations on Linux systems in single and multi domain environment.
Working knowledge of repository servers SVN/GIT.
Strong knowledge of MSSQL/Mysql Database server installation, configuration, and access rights management, backup and restoration.
Provide exceptional support for DB/Middleware/frontend Applications.
Configuration knowledge of bind, DHCP, WINS, VMware/Citrix xen server related components.
IT asset and procurement management.
Working experience of open source applications deployment and configuration.
Provide assistance in configuration, operations and maintenance of Linux related hardware, software and various other infrastructure products.
Assist and provide operational troubleshooting to identify root cause analysis of issues with the objective of operational optimization for internal user requirements.
Assist in identifying appropriate and optimized configuration of solutions, including integration within the current and planned infrastructure.
Assist in documenting and implementing Best Practices of patches, and deployment of updates and patches.
Assist with the installation, administration and maintenance of existing virtualized Linux systems.
Assist with the administration of storage hardware.
Assist with the ensuring backups of the environment are executed and periodically ensure restore of data is achievable
Must possess excellent global communication skills
Must be a willing team player in a small team environment
Good to have skills – Cloud Computing – Amazon and Azure.
