Your Role and Responsibilities

As Storage Administrator, you are responsible for administration, implementation, configuration, troubleshooting. and document on SAN infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage replication and storage virtualization
• Responsible for managing IBM SAN NetApp storage devices, IBM TPC SAT HC, OCUM tools
• Manage the storage devices brocade SAN switches, Storage troubleshooting and maintenance issues
• Log analysis and correlation of Monthly reports.
• Creating Signatures and Traps to analyze traffic pattern.
• Expertise in Checkpoint models, capabilities, and architecture
• LUN Configuration and management for Servers (AIX/LINUX/Windows/ESX)
• DR testing and taking ownership during such DR cycles.
• Monitoring and optimization of the performance, tuning, capacity planning, proactive monitoring and automation of storage Arrays.
• Managing and monitoring the day to day Critical Incidents on SAN storage.
• Troubleshooting SAN storage related Incidents and coordinating with vendor to resolve the issue within specified SLA s
• Root cause analysis
• Responsible for planning, co-ordination, execution of all production related critical activities
• Troubleshooting and managing of ISCSI and FC SAN environment.
• SAN FC switching and zoning (Brocade and Cisco)
  

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ years of experience in Administration of NetApp FAS series (C Mode) IBM Storwize V-5000/7000) Flash and SVC and advanced SAN/NAS concepts.
• Solid troubleshooting skills on IBM V7000/5000, Flash system, Brocade SAN switches and NetApp C-mode devices
• Experience on configuration of IBM storage devices NetApp.
• Expertise on array creation, pool creation Data Migrations and performance issue analysis
• Proficient in virtualization troubleshoot on the reported errors in storage fixing in on time manner.
• Experience in upgrading Storage SAN devices Troubleshooting on volume/Lun issues
• Experience on NetApp snaplock snapmirror, NetApp C-mode storage device configuration and planning
• Expertise in NetApp C-mode upgradation and troubleshooting.
• Proven verbal and written communication skills
• Expertise to work effectively as part of a team and be able to guide and influence fellow team members through initiative and active participation
  
  

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise

• Proficient in working with high availability environment.
• Experience in managing customer requirements and escalations.
• Experience in zoning using Brocade /Cisco, storage provisioning, Troubleshooting and configuration.
• Should have knowledge on decommissioning servers from storage side.
• Able to solve the issues supporting the team 24/7.
• Working experience on break-fix issues, analyzing configuration issues.
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work.
• Experience in Administration of IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) is added advantage
• Responsible for capacity projection and planning for project future growths.
• Should you have experience on analysing I/O performance of the IBM storage devices using stats.
• Brocade Fabric technologies administration.
• Experience in ServiceNow ticketing tools
