Your Role and Responsibilities
As System Programmer, you are responsible to provide support with high degree of Customer Happiness by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance. You will perform business impact analysis and risk assessments to reduce the likelihood of significant service outage or disasters.

Responsibilities:

• Manage z/OS System administration activities.
• Perform DASD Space management and RACF security administration
• You will Maintain HCD configuration and execute changes to z/OS, DB2, RACF, TWS and WMQ
• Install z/OS and related products on z/OS and apply PTF’s.
• Review and maintain system configuration documentation, troubleshooting of z/OS related problem, handle incidents related to system operation, monitoring and support Level 2 and Level 3 Ticket resolution.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5+ Years of progressive expertise in managing z/OS System administration Activities.
• Proven expertise in day to day z/OS System administration and Production Support.
• Experience in DASD Space management, RACF security administration, HCD configuration
• Experience in executing changes to z/OS, DB2, RACF, TWS and WMQ
• Proficient to install z/OS and related products on z/OS.
• Expert in review and maintain system configuration documentation and troubleshooting of z/OS related problem
• Ability to handle incidents related to system operation, monitoring and support 12. Level 2 and Level 3 Ticket resolution and liase with PMR team for extended support.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• z/VM and z/Linux skills are preferred but not necessary.
• You love collaborative environments that use agile methodologies to encourage creative design thinking and find innovative ways to develop with cutting edge technologies
• Ambitious individual who can work under their own direction towards agreed targets/goals and with creative approach to work
• Intuitive individual to manage change and proven time management
• Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing publications
