Department Overview

Payments, Virtual Solutions, and Innovation /Community Bank Technology within the Enterprise Information Technology business provides strategic technology solutions to the both the PVSI and Community Banking lines of business, including application design, development, and support.

About The Role

Role
would be Responsible for the design and development of highly scalable and robust Enterprise Grade applications. Ability to transform the current landscape and provide leadership around application rationalization, reduction of technical debt and enabling delivery of critical business outcomes. Should have a deep background in core computer sciences and engineering, with hands-on experience in one of the areas such as financial services, Distributed systems, Services at scale, Enterprise Application Integration (EAI),Data Integration, Secure Dev Ops and Information security. Ability to research, analyze and recommend new technologies to meet the business needs. Collaborate closely with horizontal functions such as architecture, product management, user experience, information security and resiliency teams.

2 .Work with stakeholders to research new technologies, frameworks, tools, proof of concepts. Develop reusable solutions that can be shared with multiple groups.

Plan, perform and resolve escalated issues related to platform, coding and testing deliverables.
Ability to drive SDLC automation & Dev Ops CI/CD adoption
Designs and Builds Non Functional frameworks and tools.
Expected to contribute towards integrating complex platforms.
Focus on building relevant engineering and business capabilities in the organization.
Coordinate & lead implementation activities across a broad range of functions and departments; work with client groups to identify, arrange, and/or deliver training needs.

Essential Skills

1 Expertise in core software engineering ( MUST HAVE Skills)

Advanced level expertise in Integrating Applications and Designing and Developing Services at Scale (MicroServices/SOA/EAI)

Intermediate level expertise in at least one of: Relational /NO SQL data stores;

Intermediate level expertise Streaming Solutions (Kafka, Storm/Spark)
2 Expertise in additional domains
A Financial Services Expertise
B Distributed Systems
C Services (including Web) at scale ( Key Requirement)

Microservices/SOA,- Middleware ,- API gateways- Integration of services
D Secure DevOps: CI/CD toolchains,- Code analysis and metrics
E Data Sciences:NoSQL data stores (Mango DB/Cassandra)
