Tax Assistant

(iii) Should possess a data entry speed of not less than 8000 key depressions per hour. Note: The speed of 8000 key depressions per hour for data entry work is to be judged by conducting a speed test on the Electronic data processing machine.

Stenographer Gr-II

Havaldar

Qualification : Matriculation or equivalent from any recognized Board. Note : Candidate will be required to possess the physical standards and pass physical test as specified below, namely:- For Male Candidates: Physical standards (minimum) Height – 157.5 Cms (relaxed by 5 Cms in the Case of Garhwalis, Assamese, Gorkhas and members of Schedule Tribes) Chest – 81 Cms (fully expanded with minimum expansion of 5 cms) Physical Test: Walking – 1600 Meters in 15 minutes Cycling – 8 Kms in 30 minutes.

Pay : Level – 1 in the pay matrix (Rs. 18,000 – 56,900)

Sports Eligibility : The proficiency will be evaluated on the basis of their participation in recognized tournaments / events in the calendar year 2018, 2017, 2016 and 2015 for which details should be furnished as Annexure I. The tournaments/ events will be evaluated in the following descending order of importance. a) International Tournaments/Events like Olympics & World Championship. b) International Tournaments/Events of regional importance like Asian Games/ Commonwealth Games / Afro Asian Games. c) Other International Tournaments / Events like SAF Games. d) Domestic Tournaments / Events of National level of seniors like National Games, National Federation Games etc. e) Domestic Tournaments / Events of National level of Juniors f) Inter University Tournaments. g) National School Games h) National physical efficiency /drive certificate holders.

Age Limit : 18 to 27 years as on 01.07.2019. Relaxation up to 3 years for OBC candidates and 5 years in case of SC/ST Candidates. For exceptional achievements in Sports/Game and those candidates who fulfil all other eligibility condition with necessary certificate, age will be relaxable up to 5 years and 10 years in the case of SC/ST.

Selection Procedure : The applications will be scrutinized and suitable candidates will be shortlisted for further selection process. The eligible candidates will have to appear in the field test relevant to Sports discipline. There will be a written test. Results will be announced on the website and communication will be sent to the shortlisted candidates.

Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) is a part of the Department of Revenue under the Ministry of Finance, Government of India. It deals with the tasks of formulation of policy concerning levy and collection of Customs & Central Excise duties and Service Tax, prevention of smuggling and administration of matters relating to Customs, Central Excise, Service Tax and Narcotics to the extent under CBEC's purview. The Board is the administrative authority for its subordinate organizations, including Custom Houses, Central Excise and Service Tax Commissionerates and the Central Revenues Control Laboratory.
