Job Description
Position: Teacher
Language Known: Kannada & English
Location: Bangalore
Are you passionate about education's power to transform lives? Here's an incredible opportunity to
make a real impact by becoming a Teacher at ICFDR, working with underprivileged children in
Bangalore's slum areas. We're searching for a dedicated individual who can teach in both Kannada
and English, fostering a love for learning and empowerment in our young learners.
Role and Responsibilities:
• Conduct engaging lessons in both Kannada and English languages for children from slum
communities.
• Create an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment that promotes active
participation.
• Tailor teaching techniques to cater to diverse learning needs.
• Monitor progress and provide necessary guidance to each student.
Requirements:
• Proficiency in both Kannada and English languages.
• Prior teaching experience is valued but not mandatory.
• Compassion, patience, and an understanding of the challenges faced by underprivileged
children.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
Schedule:
• Teaching Hours: 2 hours/day
• Working Days: 6 days/week (Sunday off)
• Timings: 4-6 PM
Compensation:
• Monthly Salary: INR 8,000 - 15,000 (Depending on the ability to take responsibility)
