Applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement as Part-Time teachers in the following subject in University Sr. Sec. Model School, Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra.

1.TGT (Science)/ 1Post

Qualifications for the post of TGT (Science): (i) B.Sc and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education; OR B.sc. with at least 50% marks and 1- year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR

B.Sc. with at least 45% marks and 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard; OR

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); OR Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.Sc. Ed; OR B.Sc. with at least 50% marks and 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education); AND

(ii)In case of B.Sc, a combination of at least three subjects out of the following:

Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Mathematics

Note: In the case of Hons. Degree, in any of the above mentioned subjects, the candidate must have studied other two subjects in the first and second year of course.

(iii)In case of B.Ed., Science as a teaching subject from a recognized University;

(iv)Certificate of having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET); AND (v)Matric with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A/M.A. with Hindi as one of the subject.

The Kurukshetra University was established in 1956 as a unitary residential University and its foundation stone was laid by late Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. Located in the holy city of Kurukshetra, land of the historical battle of 'Mahabharata' and the great message of Bhagwad Gita, its campus is situated on the western bank of Brahm Sarover (the holy tank) and extends over an area of over 400 acres. Starting with only the Department of Sanskrit, it has grown into a multi-faculty University as one of the premier centres for advanced study and research in the region.
