1. Name of the Post: Teaching Associate (TA)

2. Number of posts: 03 (Three)

3. Minimum educational Qualifications & Experience: Masters’ degree in Mathematics / Physics / Chemistry / Biology / Science Education / Engineering along with minimum 2 years’ of experience in the field of education / teaching and / or pedagogy.

4. Preference: The candidate having following will be preferred: 1. Experience in training the school/college teachers in pedagogy and science and/or maths education. 2. School teaching experience with hands-on demonstrations and working with tinkering labs 3. Expertise in making educational videos and in handling different types of media. 4. Proficiency in either Hindi or any other regional language in addition to English with good command over oral and written communication skills

5. Job requirement: The incumbent is expected to assist in designing and executing teacher training workshops of the Science Activity Centre in science and mathematics. This includes creating content, designing models and hands-on activities that are related to but not bound by school curricula. While the job headquarters will be Pune, travelling to different urban and rural areas across the country will be necessary.

6. Tenure of the appointment: Initially for a period of one year extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.

7. Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 50,000/- per month depending on experience
