Your Role and ResponsibilitiesWho you are:- COGNOS CoE Team Lead will have to manage a team of seasoned Cognos professionals, the Lead has to apply the deep expertise in designing/maintaining Cognos Dashboards/reports. Must be hands-on in the process understands the strategy, should be versatile to use, analyse products/features that helps delivering outstanding services to our customers.
What you’ll do: Roles and Responsibilities- Manage an effective and efficient operations team (application and client facing).
- Ability to provide sound leadership to a team, demonstrate guidance and coaching abilities, and direct team to achieve set objectives.
- Review task queues and ensure on-site team members resolve the assigned tasks on a timely manner to meet client Service level agreements (SLA).
- Communicate well up and down the organization and coordinate with all relevant support groups to ensure HIPAA compliance and delivery of business results at all times.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise- Minimum 5 plus years of experience (at least 2 years in supervisory level) in a production management environment in a reputed multi-national organization and should have handled a minimum team size of 10 -15.
- Capacity to deliver results, drive issues to closure, set high standards of performance and pursue challenging goals.
- Ability to develop, communicate and implement plans based on department objectives.
- Experience in developing and maintaining effective client and supplier relationships.
- Experience in designing process flows and work processes with clear roles, accountabilities and performance measures.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, UNIX, Database applications, Structured Query Language (SQL) etc.
- Should be good with analytical skills to understand operational metrics at granular level and support MIS.
- Ability to multi task, work effectively to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem solving and communicating skills.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise- Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
- Self-starter with ability to interface with people in a global matrix type organization.
- Knowledge of work measurement, and personnel development and training.
