Job Description

• Install, configure, and manage VMware virtualization technologies and infrastructure
• Install, configure, and manage backup technologies and infrastructure
• Monitor and maintain the infrastructure to ensure it's secure and up-to-date with the latest security patches
• Establish, implement, and enforce appropriate infrastructure standards to meet business requirements
• Document system configurations, technical diagrams, and standard operating procedures
• Partner with business and technology subject-matter experts to elicit and translate business requirements into technological solutions
• Respond to escalated requests for technical assistance
• Advise and make recommendations to management concerning infrastructure and related issues
• Automate via scripting and other tools to gain efficiencies and reduce opportunities for human error
