Job Description

A journalist with experience of working at a copy desk. Will be tasked with making sure that text is readable, accurate and ready for publication. Should ensure all copy is well written, logically structured and in the right style for the intended audience. She/He corrects grammar and spelling and ensures the text is in line with the stylesheet.

Requirements

Prior experience working at a copy desk of a newspaper or magazine
excellent written English, including good spelling and grammar
a meticulous approach to their work and an eye for detail
the ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
