TechMeru is an online publication that delivers authentic news stories, Op-Ed, and feature articles covering emerging technologies and disruptive innovations in various sectors, from internet businesses and fintech to mobile apps and SaaS. We aim to educate the global audience by constantly updating our readers through fresh perspectives in the world of technology.

We are on the mission to simplify how our generation wants to consume tech stories with crisp, unbiased, and factual reporting. Our team comprises of young, dynamic, independent, and well-experienced content strategists who have been involved in media ventures for the last couple of years.

What you will be doing: 

• Have skillset to report tech news from the source with original and unique writing flavour.
• Keeping eyes on day-to-day technology trends, and announcements to gather fresh news.
• Be active on social media channels, following keynote influencers to collect breaking and unique storyline.
• Setting up catchy and SEO friendly news titles.
• Interviewing people involved in the tech disruptions, i.e., CEOs, Founders & Influencers.
• Editing news articles and writing summaries where necessary.
• Researching the trendings topics to write informative feature articles.
• Verifying the accuracy and source of information in the news articles. 
• Experienced in using WordPress CMS and content uploads. 
• Coordinating cross-functionally with the editor and managerial team. 

What we are looking for:

• A tech-savvy person who has excellent command over the English language and grammar.
• Graduate with English honours or Journalism.
• Has a strong ability to meet deadlines and monthly targets consistently.
• Motivated, passionate, and a good team player who has a strong ability to lead from the front.

Experience requirement: Min. 1-year experience in online media, with the previous track-record as a news writer. (Must)

CTC: INR 15,000 PM (Fixed, in-hand) or 1.8 LAC PA
