Short Description:

To handle 2D / Form inspection work of various types of plastic / engine / vehicle parts & assemblies.
Sound Knowledge of GD&T & all Measuring instruments as per standards.
Report preparation of inspected components wrt DWG.
Handling of precise Measuring instrument like CMM, Roughness tester, Form measurement, Gears inspection etc.
Inspection data compilation & submission for Approval.
To keep track of inspection work load and maintain time line for inspection activities.
Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of Equipment’s and masters.
Experience on Portable and Fixed CMM will be an added advantage.
Ability to do 3D scanning through blue/white light scanner
3D/2D Inspection through polyworks software over scan data
Knowledge of cad software like CATIA , UG ext
Having a good sound knowledge of two wheeler industry

Key Responsibilities:

Prototype parts inspection with reports within project time line.
2D inspection of components & report generation wrt DWG & highlighting discrepencies.
Sound knowledge of GD&T parameters & machine standards.
Proper understanding of customers voice & ensuring alignment.

Skills Information:

Diploma(Mechanical)- 2 to 5yrs
Relevant Experience- Metrology,measuring equipments,CMM,Roudness/Roughness tester,Gear measurement
