Description

The Technical Artist acts as a bridge between the artists and Unreal Engine, ensuring the art content and features are easily integrated into the engine, while respecting the artistic vision and technical constraints of the project.

Key Responsibilities

Work with generalist to create 3D art and bring it into the engine
Support artists in the use of the 3D art pipeline and user-facing engine tools
Provide hands-on support to artists in regard to asset performance and validation
Review creative process and identify opportunities for tool improvements
Develop UE art pipeline tools and extensions with an eye towards usability and efficiency
Solve challenging technical issues in the UE asset pipeline
Collaborate with artists and testers to diagnose and resolve problems
Inspire and empower the art team to optimize their processes

Requirements

Must have extensive knowledge of UE Blueprints
Must be able to develop tools within UE
Must have prior experience in developing configurators, automation, personalization etc
Knowledge of AR and VR
Must be good problem solvers
Teamwork skills
Must be able to work under pressure
Deadlines Oriented

Fluent in English, both spoken and written.

Ability to learn quickly and share knowledge

Self-motivated
Attention to detail
Time-management skills
No 9 to 5 mentality

(Note: While we will be looking for the candidate to move to New Delhi soon, given the current scenario, we are open to hiring folks who are based in India and will travel to Delhi when it is safe to do so)
