Technical Assistant   job recruitment in North East Institute of Science and Technology

No. of Vacancies:   28 (UR-11, OBC-7,SC-3, ST-3, OH(1),HH(1),EWS-2)

Qualification :  1st class Diploma in Computer Science/ Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Medical Laboratory Technology OR 1st Class B.Sc and 1 yrs experience

Emoluments : Rs.35400/- (As per 7th CPC, Level 6 in the Pay Matrix)

Age Limit :  28 years as on 14.10.2019

Application Fee  :  Candidates are required to arrange for a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/- drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “Director, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat” payable at Jorhat. The last date for submitting online application and making of Demand Draft is 14.10.2019. This date will be the same for the candidates belonging to far-flung areas. The following details must be filled up on back side of Demand Draft (i) Candidate‟s Name, (ii) Candidate‟s Category, (iii) Post Code Applied. The Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad category are exempted from payment of application fee.

Selection Procedure :  The candidates recommended by the Screening Committee will be called for Trade Test. The Trade test will be qualifying in nature and only those candidates who qualify in the Trade Test shall be called for the Competitive Written Examination. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the competitive written examination.

Mode of Selection:

A. Trade Test: Diploma/Graduation Level based on the advertised qualification of the post.

B. Competitive Written Examination: Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination, Total Questions - 200, Total Time allotted - 3 Hours.
