Job Description

Technical Assistant recruitment in Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur

IMPRINT Project on: 'Design and development of new generation advanced high strength steels with enhanced strength, ductility and application properties by controlling the amount and stability of retained austenite' 

Essential Qualification: Graduate in Science (Physics/ Chemistry) with 3 years of experiences or Diploma in Metallurgical/ Materials Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute with 3 years’ experiences.

Desirable Qualifications/experiences: Candidates having work experience in operation of Laboratory rolling mill, Scientific equipment (Metallography laboratory: sample preparation and knowledge on optical microscopy, hardness measurement and microstructural analyses) will be given preferences.

No of posts: 2

Fellowship: Rs. 20,000/- (consolidated).

Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (Upper age limit is relaxable up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/Woman and Physically handicapped candidates).

Duration: Initially for one year, may be extendable up to 10th March, 2022 depending upon the performances. Competent Candidate should bring two hard copies bio-data to submit and original mark sheet and certificate.
