SECTION III: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ ACCOUNTABILITIES

Strategic/ Managerial Responsibilities
  • Market knowledge and update on real estate guidelines on an overall basis as well as location specific
  • Resolution of Valuation related challenges raised by Business Team
  • Revisiting of Real Estate Valuation Policy & Process, identifying gaps and corrections thereof time to time
  • Identification and Empanelment of new technical vendor and qualitative evaluation of existing vendors.
Core Responsibilities
  • Complete property vendor management including identification, empanelment, monitoring, performance management thereof etc.
  • Recommending policy level changes for managing valuation risks in local markets.
  • Vetting of Valuation reports
  • APF (Advance Processing Facility) management end to end
  • Maintaining checks for quality & audit purposes.
  • Remain updated with market intelligence.
  • Adherence to policy / regulatory guidelines.
  • TAT Rationalisation, monitoring and reduction as an ongoing activity
  • Conduct trainings for various stakeholders
  • Recommending policy level changes for managing APF risks in local markets.
  • Vetting of APF reports
  • Random Sampling & deep diving of valuation reports mom and taking appropriate action on critical observations arising out of this activity
  • Fraud control measures
People Management Or Self-Management Responsibilities
  • Active participation in all valuation related discussions with business, credit, operations, policy etc.
  • Vendor visits, Location visit and regular interactions with various stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, goal oriented & dynamic in nature.
Risk And Internal Control Responsibilities
  • Identify the gaps in the existing process & highlights to the Senior Management
  • Putting up new processes in place to ensure strong internal control mechanism
  • Random Sampling & deep diving of valuation reports mom and taking appropriate action on critical observations arising out of this activity
  • Fraud control measures

  • Re-valuation of existing properties

Experience

Years Of Experience
  • 4 to 10 years of relevant experience preferably from banks.
Nature of

Experience
  • Detailed domain and process acumen on retail banking mortgage products
  • Well versed with real estate market
  • Networking with peers in competition.
  • Should exhibit strategic approach towards resolution of any issues
  • Strong communication and co-ordination skills.
