The International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS) of the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR),a premier research centre (an Autonomous, Grant-in-Aid Institution of the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India and a Deemed University) is looking for a well trained, competent, highly motivated and self-driven individuals for the below posts under the unreserved category at its Bengaluru Campus. The required qualifications and experience are given below:

1. Position: Project Technical Officer C (Electrical)

3. Consolidated Monthly Emoluments: 78500

4. Essential Qualifications & Experience:

(a) Full time Degree in Engineering (B.E/B.Tech with aggregate of 60% marks) from a recognized university.

(b) Minimum three years of experience in the relevant field (handling HT yard, HT/ LT equipment like transformer, vacuum and air circuit breakers, DG sets, centralized UPS; maintenance of protective and controlling switch gears, distribution systems, underground cable, motor and power control centres, solar panels, windmills, fire alarm system, fire fighting system etc.)

5. Desirable Skills

a) Candidates should have experience in independently handling the electrical works; operation and maintenance of UPS systems, other HT/LT installations, HVAC System, Fire Fighting System, Sewage Treatment Plant, Data Center Power and Cooling System.

b) Familiarity with use of computers and knowledge about CAD Software,

c) Experience in estimation of quantity, preparation of tender documents, bills and measurement books etc.

d) Candidates should have fluency in oral and written communication, and documentation skills.

6. Job Profile: The job profile involves planning, designing, erection, testing, commissioning and maintenance of all electrical installations like lighting, power distribution (HT/ LT transformers),DG set, fire alarm system, UPS and other electrical systems in accordance with relevant standards.
