Institute invites applications from Indian nationals having excellent academic record and relevant work experience for the following positions purely on temporary and contractual basis under the funded project titled “Pilot Programme of India Innovation Competency Enhancement Program (IICEP)” (Proj. code: 30119486) funded by Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India:
1. Post Name: Technical Officer (TO) (Chemistry Education)
2. Number of posts: 01 (One)
3. Minimum educational Qualifications & Experience: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Chemical Sciences or equivalent and B.Ed.
4. Desirable: The candidate must have some experience in teaching or outreach based on school curriculum from Standard 5 th -10th . The candidate must be proficient in English, Hindi and Marathi. Good command over oral and written communication skills is essential.
5. Job requirement: The incumbent is expected to design new activities and building models to be used in school level teaching. The candidate will assist in teacher training workshops to be conducted at the Science Activity Centre and in different parts of India, and carry out occasional engagement sessions with teachers and students.
6. Tenure of the appointment: Initially for a period of one year extendable for further period subject to satisfactory performance of the incumbent and continuation of the project.
7. Consolidated emoluments: Rs. 40,000/- to Rs. 45,000/- per month depending on experience
