What are my responsibilities?
The Technical Sales Engineer primary responsibility is for the technical achievement of the sales goals. The Technical Sales Engineer is accountable to the Sales head and shall have below resposibiltes
Evaluate Tender Requirements during bid stage.
Prepare Techno-Commercial Offer .
Identify Project Specific Enhancement and Co-ordinate with SAG for getting estimations.
Identify markets in new upcoming areas of digitalization and make presentations to customer
Co-ordinate with vendors for IT and Third party software stack for getting technical optimized solution
What do I need to qualify for this job?
Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer science / ECE/ Electrical Engineering/ IT
Should have strong domain knowledge of SCADA/DMS/EMS Applications.
Strong knowledge of Cyber Security Aspects
Strong IT knowledge to select proper hardware configuration
Create System Architecture independently in-line with tender requirements and in optimized manner.
Able to estimate the efforts for engineering for project during bid stage
Able to evaluate various IT vendors technically to find most cost optimized solution without deviating from tender requirements.
Willing to travel 40% of time in making customer demos and presentation.
Very Good communication skills
Able to work in team together with Engineering and Project Management ,
Primary technical contact for the project team, customer, partner, or system integrator through the Pre-bid, bid, requirements phase.
Responsible for delivery of functional and technical design during bid
Designs an overall solution that fits the technical needs of the project considering budget constraints along with other non-functional requirements like usability, performance, maintainability, security etc.
Facilitates functional and integration workshops, advises on best practice
Prepare and conducts workshops with customers, partners, or integrators for each component of the solution.
