Primary responsibilities: -
• Respond to queries either in person or via chat, email, or phone
• Respond to email messages for users seeking help
• Diagnosing system errors and other issues
• Timely response to end users and closing of helpdesk tickets
• Serving as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
• Follow up with users to ensure issue has been resolved.
• Run reports to determine malfunctions that continue to occur
• Remotely accessing hardware or software for user systems to make changes and fix problems
• Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
• Maintain periodic performance of computer systems.
• Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
• Resolve technical problems with Local Area Networks (LAN)
• Stay current with system information, changes and updates
• Install computer peripherals for users.
• Periodic maintenance of IT devices
Key Skills and Competencies:-
• Familiarity with both PC and Mac Hardware
• PC Assembling
• Familiarity with Client OS System (Windows/MAC)
• Good understanding in Infrastructure technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory)
• Ability to Troubleshoot and Diagnose Problems
• Familiarity with Network Repairs and Analysis
• Basic Knowledge in Office 365 environment (Not needed)
• Knowledge in Helpdesk Ticketing System, SLA, Escalation Matrix
• Good in communication and vendor management.
