Job Description:
The roles and responsibilities of the Technical Writer include the following:
- Working closely with the product development teams to understand new features, gather necessary knowledge, and document product features
- Planning, developing, and supporting software product technical documentation, including but not limited to product user guides, administration guides, and inline product help content
- Using photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase the users’ understanding
- Adhering to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies

- Desired Skills and Experience:
- Education—Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, or mass communications
- Experience—2-5 years of relevant experience
- Excellent command of English
- Experience of writing software end-user documentation and training materials (ideally for cloud-based platforms and services)
- Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods
- Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to learn technical information quickly
- Willingness to be proactive in seeking information
- Experience with the entire product documentation life cycle, including the ability to plan and organize writing projects, manage technical reviews, and produce documents within schedule, with minimal or no supervision
