Job Description

Technical Writer

Job Title: Technical Writer

Job Objective: 

  • We are looking for experienced candidate to join our documentation team, with following responsibilities. 
  • People who have worked in similar environment, interfacing with multiple technology and functional teams will be preferred. 
  • Excellent communication and go getter attitude are required. 
  • A minimum of 5 plus years in similar role will be ideal.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the SMEs (product and project managers, architects, developers, test engineers, etc.) to get information about the processes, procedures and products.
  • Prepare high quality documentation deliverables such as process documents, procedure documents, training materials, user guides.
  • Create meaningful business example scenarios and illustrations.
  • Ability to gather information from documents, analyze the information, and extract only the required information for different types of deliverables.
  • Excellent research and communication skills.
  • Follow up with SMEs for technical reviews.
  • Review and release documents.
  • Collect feedback on the documents and update them if required.
  • Maintain document versions and update the documents as and when required.
  • Contribute to the style related aspects of documentation.
  • Will need to work on multiple projects at the same time.
