RESPONSIBILITIES
Research, outline, write and edit new and existing content, working closely with various departments to understand project requirements.
Make high-quality documentation that meets standards, is appropriate, and easy to use.
Write user-friendly content and interface text that meets the needs of the target audience.
Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.
Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with a consistent and cohesive voice across all documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
1 - 2 years of experience in technical writing of software documentation is required.
Ability to translate highly technical information into easily understandable information for customers.
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Basic familiarity with SDLC and software development will be an added advantage.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
