Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The qualified individual will make significant contributions in setting up and managing the Lab for the PCie validation team. The role will be that of an individual contributor. Below are the duties and responsibilities for the same.
Work with PCIe Validation team to help setup various systems and infrastructure to support bring up of new and existing validation programs.
Responsible for executing tests related to storage based products.
Analyze, capture and interpret tests for products and systems.
Soldering SMT components if required and maintaining lab equipment.
Debug device and hardware problems in order to resolve first level and simple board issues
Document procedures and reports.

REQUIRED: BE / B Tech / Diploma

PREFERRED:

Should be able to operate lab equipment like power supplies, function generator, oscilloscopes , protocol analyzers etc
Working knowledge/experience with the installation of Linux and Windows operating systems including drivers and flashing BIOS

Required Skills/Experience:

Experience and technical expertise in PC hardware devices, motherboard architecture and computer system assembly
Needs to have a working knowledge and principles of PC architecture in order to trouble shoot hardware compatibility issues.
Knowledge and ability to locate voltage rails, signals and components through the use of schematics or other board documentation
Excellent troubleshooting skills in detecting and solving hardware and software issues and to resolve setup and board related issues.
Soldering skills in an added advantage.
Assist to develop test set-up arrangements
Experience with bug tracking systems such as JIRA
Experience in C and Perl/Bash or similar scripting language is an added advantage
Highly organized, able to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.
