The University of Calicut invites applications for the position of Technician -Lighting

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for the contract appointment of Technician (Lighting) in the School of Drama & Fine Arts, Dr. John Matthai Centre, Aranattukara, Thrissur with the following specifications: 

Pay Scale: Rs.24,520/-

Essential : 1. B.T.A or Diploma from the National School of Drama. 2. Experience in stage lighting.

Desirable: Experience in doing electrical wiring and fittings for the theatre (Candidate will have to produce an equivalency certificate at the time of interview if their degree is from a University other than the University of Calicut)

1. Not to exceed 36 years as of 01.01.2022 (usual age relaxation in upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules). 

2. Age relaxation in lower age limit will be given to the applicants who have worked at the Calicut University for their period of engagement on a daily wage/contract basis.
