Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs and to explain how specific products and services can meet these needs
2. Help customers select products based on the customers' needs, product-based
3. Produce information for management necessary to evaluate performance against key performance indicator
4. Manage time and tasks to achieve maximum new business opportunities and retain maximum existing revenue
5. Manage a portfolio of customers and potential customers through telephone contact
