Qualifications:

For faculty position (temporary-tenure basis) in Engineering Departments: UG or PG. UG and PG qualifications as per AICTE notification, 28th April, 2017, Major / Core Branch of Engineering / Technology and their relevant / appropriate courses leading to degree in Engineering / Technology for recruitment to teaching positions, F. No. 27/RIFD/Pay/01/2017 – 18.

For faculty position (temporary-tenure basis) in Non-Engineering Departments: Ph. D. in appropriate discipline. UG and PG in relevant subject with first class or equivalent either in UG or PG. PhD is must as on last date of submission of application form.

Age: Age of the applicant must be below 55 years on the last date of submission of the application. The selected candidates shall have to submit the affidavit and undertaking regarding no claim to regular faculty positions in VJTI, Mumbai as per the prescribed format on Rs. 100/- stamp paper at the time of joining

Consolidated: Selected candidates will be paid consolidated Rs 65000/- to Rs. 70000/- per Month based on the qualification, experience and the recommendations of the selection committee.

Application Fee: Application processing fees to be paid on-line through SBI connect of Rs. 1000/- for Open category and Rs 500/- for Reserved Category Candidates (including PWD candidates). Reserved category candidates must attach caste validity certificate of competent authority along with the application. Candidates under VJ-A, NT-B, NT-C, NT-D, OBC category shall attach valid non-creamy layer certificate. Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidate shall attach handicap certificate of competent authority with not less than 40% disability.

The Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute was given its present title on January 26, 1997. Founded in 1887, it was then known as Victoria Jubilee Technical Institute. The institute is reputed for excellent training in courses in engineering and technology at diploma and, degree and post graduate levels over three thousand students.
