1. The first and foremost job responsibility of TM is to meet doctors and generate business from them by way of increasing prescription sale.
2. TM has to actively follow up the prescription of the doctor.
3. TM has to ensure that the doctors in the list are retained and new doctors are constantly added.
4. TM has to visit retailers i.e. pharmacy shops of the area concerned to follow up with the prescription of the doctors so as to get firsthand knowledge of the sale at the ground level. He should also book orders from the retailers so as to ensure that none of the product goes out of stock at the pharmacy. Retailer survey is as important as meeting doctors.
5. TM should actively work out new strategies and implement the same at the ground level as to ensure that the business grows exponentially.
