Job Description

Accountable for the production of high-quality software on a personal and team level adhering to all software engineering quality standards/benchmarks.Collaborate and communicate with other testers and developers and team members to build automated technical solutions that meet customer needs. Demonstrate passion for adoption of new tools, processes and technical developments to drive continuous improvement by maintaining an in-depth understanding of relevant and up to date knowledge of applications and techniques.Ensure developed automated code is of high quality and cost-effective to maintain.Hands on knowledge in automating Web and API (SOAP, REST and Micro Services).Hands on knowledge of associated technologies such as Java, Selenium, Database.Ability to draw upon professional concepts to collaborate with others to carry out assigned duties.Ability to recognize problems related to teamâ€™s objectives / deliveries and to apply creativity / judgment to professional, technical or operational problems.Ability to coordinate activities of less experienced or less knowledgeable team membersAwareness on CI/CD and DevOpsExperience using project and dependency management tools such as Maven.Working in an Agile EnvironmentReporting of defects and issues, interact closely with DEV & QA team membersCollaborate with teams on common approach of Continuous delivery modelAbility to implement new test scripts on top of the existing testing frameworkParticipating in agile ceremonies providing story points and estimates for task.
What will you be doing?Accountable for the delivery of a fully automated suite for the active release(s).Ensure Automation Testers are progressively automating user stories as per release / sprint plans.Automate using agreed / standard automation framework (Java/Selenium/Cucumber/BDD/Python/RDBMS).Take complete ownership of assigned user stories i.e. understanding, collaborating with Bas / POs / Architects, scripting and executing within the sprint cycle.Ensure the documents like test cases, auto scripts, detailed status reports, test completion reports are prepared by the team and necessary sign-offs have been obtained.Ensure active participation in daily scrum calls, provide updates and raise impediments timely.
What weâ€™re looking for:BE, Master degree or equivalentTest tool knowledge â€“ JiraWell versed Manual Testing concepts. Flexible in working on both Manual and Automation testingExperience of automating web, mobile and API.Experience of working within a regulatory driven change environmentGood knowledge in Database queries.
