Job Description

Mission/Position headline - Drives test architecture realization and test strategy activities towards a cost efficient and timely realization of the product and test methods with appropriate quality.

Experience - Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a process oriented software organization, with atleast 3 years in driving test architecture realization and test strategy activities towards a cost efficient and timely realization of the product and test methods with appropriate quality.

Experience in working with multi-site global teams in an agile environment.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Aligns with Product Management on the testability of requirements, and performs requirements verification.

• Derives and validates functional and non-functional requirements, drives design discussions together with software architects and development teams.

• Participates in design reviews, and identifies potential design flaws.

• Establishes & institutionalizes preventive and corrective controls, guides test teams on test design and automation, and drives test strategy at unit, integration and system level.

• Defines preventive test metrics of product, ensuring test automation coverage across levels. • Drives measures to increase efficiency and effectiveness of tests, and supports risk mitigation.

• Participates in the evolution/implementation of product development processes and tools.

• Establishes governance for test code (practices and guidelines) to ensure high quality in test code.

• Overall responsible for product quality, helps present quantitative and qualitative view on product quality.
