Job Description
Test Automation Engineer
Job Responsibilities:-
Work with test experts to develop various test methodologies
Participate in Agile ceremonies to provide estimates for test automation
Run unit/integration/functional tests
Develop tools for performance analysis
Assess various software and open-source tools for a comparative study
Develop python or Linux scripts for various test scenarios
Automatic parsing of log error scripts for report generation
Setup ECU connections both remote and local
Trigger builds through Jenkins
Assess defect logs
Log defects in JIRA
Archive scripts/programs in Git
Must-Have:-
Knowledge of flashing software to system
Knowledge of Automotive networks like CAN LIN etc
Develop CANoe scripts /Models
Nice to have: API/Web scripting knowledge
Passion for testing
Expertise in Python, Linux scripting, Remote Shell
Knowledge of robot framework
Knowledge of GIT/BitBucket
Knowledge of various automotive software features and ECUS
Usage of electronic test tools like oscilloscopes and other tools
Exposure to automotive ECUs
Knowledge of the usage of JIRA for bug reporting
