We are looking for experienced TestAutomation engineer, with emphasis on debug, enhance and implement new featuresand functionality in Medidata’s Medical Coding Service - Coder. Medicalcoding is a critical piece of the clinical trial process and part of Medidata’sstrategy to grow to over one billion in revenue.

What will your job be?

Analyze, plan, design, develop, implement and maintain software in a production environment

Advocate for and apply good technical practices such as continuous integration, test automation, automated infrastructure and observability

Use test driven strategies to ensure code quality, and collaborate with the team to ensure feature quality

Leverage agile methodologies to anticipate and mitigate risks, ensure team health and manage complex tasks

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to mid and junior level Test Engineers, in sharing knowledge and encouraging professional growth
The Challenges ahead

Be a vital part of the engineering team, to deliver mission critical software. You will work in a highly collaborative environment with Product Management, Developers and be a hands-on tester of Medidata’s software applications with Ruby on Rails, relational and non-relational databases, and Cloud Services.

Be self-motivated and eager to engage in high impact, challenging engineering problems while continuously raising the standard of quality in our products and services in a full solutions-oriented SaaS environment

Able to troubleshoot and debug microservices using distributed systems tracing, NewRelic or SumoLogic and other APMs, & log aggregating and reporting tools.
Your key success factors

Engineering or MCA with 60% through out in all academics with 0-30 Days’ notice period

4-7 years’ Experience with testing tools such as Cucumber or Selenium And API testing (MUST).

Advanced skills in test design and coverage.

Experience with API, UI, Database Test automation

Experience working with code repositories such as GitHub.

Experience with Continuous Integration tools like Jenkins/Travis, GoCD.

Experience with TDD and BDD

Ability to see the big picture from the user perspective.

Ability to work in a fast paced dynamic environment
