The Purpose Of The Test Engineer Will Be

Our Test Engineer’s get involved in high transactional applications that are used globally so we want you to get involved in team activities and project work by developing test standards, testing software and data functions. Our systems deal with millions of insurance quotes a day and so, by using your expert knowledge and experience, you will help the team continue to provide market leading solutions to our customers.
We’d Like To Meet a Test Engineer With
- Minimum MCA or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferably Electronics, Computer Science, Information Technology)
Technical Skills Required
- Min 3 years of testing experience
- Good to have experience in Automation testing (Selenium+JAVA)
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills to interface with various teams
- Practical working knowledge of one or more of the following Industries:
- QA/Testing Company
- General IT Training/Support
- Insurance Industry (Broker/Insurer/Underwriter)
- IT Financial Systems
The Test Engineer Responsibilities Include
- Prepare (design, build/create and maintain) test scenarios/cases/scripts for Functional, Integration and Regression?test phase from the analysis of requirements document.
- Review test scenarios/cases/scripts for test coverage traceability and ensure that all requirements and supporting specifications are tested using the valid test cases
- Provide input into project estimates; provide effective feedback during testing phase. Support customer and project during UAT phase.
- Perform data analysis and use relevant tools and formats
- Assist the test lead/manager during planning and estimation sessions
- Test new functionality as agreed within the Business Requirement documentation – Liaise with Project Management, Customer or BA teams if required
- To liaise with the developers to assist in recreation of issues and to ensure that all fixes are retested in a timely fashion
- Triage issues reported by the support and verify the problem with relevant product versions and customers.
- Incorporate quality measures and checkpoints by reviewing documentation and acting as an expert resource on test plans, testing process, and quality assurance.
