This is to inform you that there is a huge target of assessment in Textile / Garment Sector, So We are inviting applications to become Assessor in the Textile / Garment Sector in Your State for Under Scheme for Capacity Building in Textiles Sector - (Samarth) of Ministry of Textiles Government of India.

 Interested Candidates can apply to get associated with our organization for the assessment work. There will be Online ToA (Training of Assessor) to become an assessor so its great opportunity to become an assessor in the Textiles / Garment sector and sub-sector.

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB Name:  Textile / Garment Assessor 

Job Type: Contract / freelancer  

Locations:  Across Country/PAN India, (Preferred : Southern India)

Responsibilities and Duties -

To conduct assessments for skill development Courses under Textile / Garment Sector. To conduct assessment, result formation. The profile needs traveling at various locations of Local State & local nearby dist. locations.

Assessor Eligible Criteria:

For Samarth (Scheme for Capacity Building in Textile Sector) and Other Government Schemes

• Education and Experience Criteria: Should be a Degree/Diploma in Garment Making/ Fashion Design/ Textile/Jute/Handloom, B.Sc(FD) Or M.Sc(FD), B.Sc/M.Sc (Home science) 

        (From approved institute UGC/AICTE)

• The experience shall be in teaching or relevant industry. Educational qualification should be relevant to the module for which the assessor is being empanelled.

Experience Required:

• 1+ years Exp. in Textile Sector/ Garment / Tailoring, Dress Making/ Made-Ups etc. in Industry/ Trade/ Teaching      ( For Degree Candidates )
• 3 years Exp. in Textile Sector/ Garment / Tailoring, Dress Making/ Made-Ups etc. in Industry/ Trade/ Teaching      ( For Diploma Candidates )
• 10 years Exp. in Textile Sector/ Garment / Tailoring, Dress Making/ Made-Ups etc. in Industry/ Trade/ Teaching      ( For ITI & Other Relevant Certificate Candidates )

In the case of traditional sectors like Handicraft, etc., where a formal degree or diploma education is not available, 5-10 years of production/field experience in the relevant sub-sector and trade will be taken as minimum eligibility criteria.  Also candidates having Artisan card also become assessor.

Shortlisted and Approved candidates have to go for the Online TOA Program and have to attend the Training.
