Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Implement, monitor and manage new and existing customers on GCP
  • Manage and support 24x7 GCP environments for multiple customers
  • Analyze environments and be capable of providing recommendations on security, performance and compliance.
  • Actively contribute to development of new implementations or enhancements of projects.
  • Troubleshooting issues, participating in on-call rotation where required.
  • GCP Cloud Engineer would assist with the management, support, and oversight of the virtual server environments and business continuity processes during the tenure period.
  • This Candidate will assist with managing, maintaining, monitoring and securing (including data security) of all servers including troubleshooting and documentation (RCAs, SOPs).

Requirements
  • Must have troubleshooting knowledge on GCP services
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills and ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
  • Minimum 2 years of GCP experience in deploying and managing projects.
  • Hands on experience with GCP services for Compute, Storage, Networking and Migrations
  • Good knowledge of the security operation, monitoring tools, and backup solution
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems
  • Strong understanding of GCP capabilities and limitations
  • Knowledge of other cloud platforms AWS/Azure will be added advantage.
  • Good communication skills and capability to work directly with global customers.
  • Certification - Associate Cloud Engineer
