Qualification :
(a) TGT (Arts):-He / She must have obtained Bachelor Degree in Arts / Commerce or a Sastri
(Sanskrit) / Degree from a recognized university with two school subjects as
defined below from a recognized University having 50% marks in aggregate (45%
for SC /ST/PWD/SEBC candidates) and Bachelor in Education (BEd) from a NCTE
recognized institution. Or Four year integrated BA Bed from a NCTE recognized
institution with two school subjects as defined below having 50% mark in
aggregate (45% for SC /ST/PWD/SEBC candidates) Provided that in any case the
candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree with two school subjects (with not
less than 200 marks each) as the following i) Language subjects like English
and Odia offered as a Hons/ Pass/ Elective/ Compulsory subject shall be treated
as one school subject and ii) Another subject shall be considered from the
subjects like History, Geography. Economics, Political Science, Indian Economy,
Landmarks in Indian History, Indian Geography, Indian Polity, offered as
Pass/Hons/Elective/Optional subject.
(b) TGT (Science)
(PCM/CBZ) :- He / She must have obtained Bachelor Degree in Science/ b. B.Tech/ B.E with two school subjects as defined below from a recognized
University having 50% marks in aggregate ( 45% for SC /ST/PH /SEBC candidates )
and Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) from a NCTE recognized Institution. OR Four
year integrated B.Sc. B.Ed from a NOE recognized institution with two school
subjects as defined bellow having 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC /ST/PH
/SEBC candidatft) Provided that in any case the candidate must have passed
Bachelor Degree with two school subjects (with not less than 200 marks each) as
the following : a) For Trained Graduate Teacher-Science(PCM): any two out of
Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, as elective/optional/Honours /Pass subjects b)
For Trained Graduate Teacher-Science(CBZ): any two out of Chemistry, Botany,
Zoology, Biology as elective/ optional/ Honours /Pass subjects.
(c) Sanskrit Teacher
:- Bachelor Degree with Sanskrit as one of the elective / optional /
Honours / Pass subject from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in
aggregate (45% for SC / ST/ PH/ OBC/ SEBC candidates ) with Sikshya
Sashtri (Sanskrit) ( a course prescribed by NCTE) from a recognized University /
Institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University. OR
Sastri (Sanskrit) with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC
/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates) recognized University and Sikshya Sashtri(Sanskrit)
( a course prescribed by NCTE) from a recognized University / Institution
recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University. OR Acharya (except Jyotisha Acharya and
Ayurvedaacharya) or Sahitya Acharya with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a
recognized University. OR Bachelor Degree with Sanskrit as one of the elective
/ optional / Honours / Pass subject from a recognized University with minimum
50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC /ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates ) and M.A in
Sanskrit) minimum 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University /
Institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University.
(d) Hindi Teacher : -Bachelor Degree from a recognized University with Hindi as one of the elective
subject with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC /ST/ PH/ OBC/SEBC
candidates ) or with Rashtra Bhasha Ratna from Rastra Bhasha Pracher Samiti,
Vardha or with Sastri from Odisha Rastra Bhasha Parishad, Puri or with Snatak
(acquire by June 2005),the date upto which the temporary recognition has been
granted) from Hindi Sikshya Samiti, Odisha , Cuttack, or an equivalent Degree
from a recognized Institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate(45% for SC
/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates ) AND Hindi Sikshyan Parangat from Kendriya Hindi
Sansthan, Agra / B.H.Ed (a course prescribed by NCTE) from a Institution
recognized by NCTE) and affiliated to a recognized university / B.Ed in Hindi
(a course prescribed by NCTE) from Dakshin Bharat Hindi Prachar Sabha, Madras
and Institution recognized y NCTE and affiliated to a recognized University. OR Bachelor Degree with Hindi as one of the
optional / Honours subject with 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC
/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates) and M.A in Hindi with minimum 50% malls in
aggregate from a recognized university.
(e) PET :- + 2 or
its equivalent examination with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC
/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC) and C.P.Ed / B.P.Ed/ M.P Ed from a recognized Board /
University.
(f) I .A CT :- He
/ She must have passed CT with Intermediate / + 2 Arts with minimum 50% marks
in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/PH/OBC/SEBC candidates.) from a recognized Council.
Remuneration :
TGT/ Sanskrit Teacher/ Hindi Teacher : Rs. 16,880/-
IACT : Rs.10,000/-
PET : Rs.9250/-
Age Limit :
He / She must be below 32 years and above 21 years of age as on
01.01.2018 provided that maximum age limit shall be relaxed by 5 years in case
of candidates belong to ST/SC/SEBC and Women candidates. Age shall be relaxed
for Ex-serviceman as per Odisha Ex-servicemen rule 1989. In case of PH
candidate the Upper age shall be relaxed by 10 years.
Select ion Procedure : The selection will be made by the District Selection Committee headed by the Collector, Nuapada. Selection shall be made only on merit i.e., on the basis of percentage of marks. After verification of certificates, Merit List(150% shall be prepared for each category of candidates on the basis of percentage of marks secured in H.S.0 Examination (without extra optional if any),B.A/ B.Com/ B.Sc(without Ancillary & Foundation coursed if any) & B.Ed Examination in case of Trained Graduates (Arts & Science Teacher) and in case of Sanskrit, Hindi, PET, 1A/CT Teachers (without extra optional / Ancillary & Foundation courses if any),the percentage of marks secured by a candidate in each qualifying examination.
