Tools Development Engineer

The Tools Development Engineer role within Automation and Tools Development team is a strong technical role, responsible for design/development of Internal Tools, Applications along with ability to commit on building scalable automation infrastructure and tools. This person has to drive projects independently working closely with Development/QA teams. The team works on some of the most challenging problems faced by internal customers such as building applications for Test Management, Visualization using different reporting tools, Automation Infrastructure etc. The team also works on challenging problems in test automation in areas such as - display drivers, multimedia, Gaming, Virtualization, Machine Learning, etc. Any person we hire is required to quickly learn and commit on these areas as per the business need.

What You'll Be Doing

Design, Development and maintenance of tools and applications for in-house teams.
Design, development and maintenance of automation infrastructure that is scalable to run over hundreds of systems in automation farm.
Design and develop services and libraries to facilitate rapid application/web development.
Use conventional & out of the box approaches to important problems.
Work with stake holders across time zones to ensure that all work you're doing is high quality and meet the end user requirements.

What We Need To See

3+ years’ experience in developing web applications using ASP.Net MVC and Web services.
Hands-on working on application development using C#.NET 4.0 or above for working on Moderate to Large Scale Applications.
Hands-on working on backend development using SQL server (Stored procedures, triggers)
Knowledge on Data-Visualization tools and libraries would make you more effective.
Hands-on knowledge on Bootstrap or other web frameworks is expected.
Knowledge of Javascript and jQuery frameworks is required in this role.
Sound programming (Object Oriented) skills in C#/Java/Python.
Good written and verbal interpersonal skills – effectively articulate knowledge and ideas.
