Job Description

Advertisement for the engagement of ITI Pass candidates as Trade Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for one year Apprenticeship Training at the O&M project sites of HPPCL

Trade and Seats: a. Electrician :-04 b. Fitter :-08 c. Welder :-02 d. Electrician :-08 e. Fitter :-04 f. Welder :-01 g. Electrician :-02 h. Fitter :-04 i, Welder :-01

Qualifications: ITI pass candidates from the designated Trades

Preference to PAF/PAA: - 50% of the total seats are earmarked for candidates from Project affected Families and Project Affected areas of Sainj HEP, Sawra Kuddu HEP and Kashang HEP (Stage –I). However candidates will have to produce a certificate in this regard issued by competent authority /Revenue department / Panchayat and duly verified by the concerned HPPCL officials.

Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited (HPPCL), was incorporated in December 2006 under the Companies Act 1956, with the objective to plan, promote and organize the development of all aspects of hydroelectric power on behalf of Himachal Pradesh State Government (GoHP) and Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB) in Himachal Pradesh. The GoHP has a 60%, and HPSEB, a 40% shareholding in HPPCL.
