Applications are invited for engagement of Trade Apprentices under Apprentices Act, 1961, and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 as amended from time to time in the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project, Kudankulam PO, Radhapuram Taluk, Tirunelveli District – 627106, Tamil Nadu.

1. Name of the Trade: Fitter, Machinist, Welder (Gas & Electric),Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, Pump Operator cum Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Mechanic (Chiller Plant) Industrial Air Conditioning

2. No. of Seats: 173

3. Qualification required:

a. Fitter: Passed 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and. ITI Pass Certificate in Fitter Trade

b. Machinist: Passed 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and. ITI Pass Certificate in Machinist Trade or Grinder Trade

c. Welder (Gas & Electric): Passed 8th class examination from recognised school and ITI Pass Certificate in Welder Trade

d. Electrician: Passed 10th class examination with Science and Mathematics under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent and ITI Pass Certificate in Electrician Trade or Wireman Trade or Rewinder Trade

4. Standard of Physical Fitness: candidates should be free from evidence of any contagious or infectious disease. He should not be suffering from any disease, which is likely to be aggravated by service or is likely to render him until unfit for service or to endanger of health of the public. He should also be free from evidence of Tuberculosis in any form, active or healed.

5. Amount of Stipend: 8855/- shall be payable as stipend, if the candidate had undergone 2 years ITI course.7700/- 7700/- shall be payable as stipend, if candidate had undergone 1 year ITI course.

Age Limit:

Not less than 18 years. Maximum age limit is 24 years for General Candidates and EWS Candidates
