Skills and Experience

Monitoring the media including news, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs in order to keep abreast of the latest news and developments across the AI, ML, Data Science, NLP, Deep Learning etc.
Collating and suggesting news for inclusion in HOB journal on website and social media platform.
Identifying and making suggestion for features and articles to be included in the Tech Industries and on the HOB Website.
Identifying and developing links with a range of appropriate media to assist in the publication of articles released by HOB
Experience and understanding of the identification and placing of media opportunities (PR and Advertising)
Experience in research, copy writing and placement of press releases
Experience in the delivery of blogs, tweets and content for websites ensuring that they are timely and engaging to a range of audiences
Strong written and verbal communication skills, comfortable with copy writing and production of material

Requirements

Qualification: Mass communication graduate
The ability to communicate efficiently with individuals across all functions and to work effectively as part of a team
Strong research skills in order to investigate communication opportunities plus written and verbal communication skills
Strong creative approach to the planning and delivery of Content
Ability to work independently and proactively
Flexibility, patience and the ability to cope with changing priorities
