Job Responsibilities:

• Review requirements specifications and technical design documents, report any gaps in that to test lead/manager.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well - structured test plans and test cases
• Design, develop and execute automation scripts
• Find and report defects/gaps in requirement documents or developed software
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document findings in testing thoroughly
• Perform thorough regression testing, when bugs are resolved Required
• Active participation in all team meetings/events and provide appropriate inputs

Mandatory Skills and Experience:

• Proficiency and internship experience with a reputed organization in development or testing
• A diploma in testing from a reputed institute is a must
• ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL) will be a plus
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases will be a plus
• Strong passion to test software with intend to break it.
• Good OOPs concepts and good hand-on experience in any one programming language
• Knowledge of automated testing tools (like Selenium WebDriver) will be a plus
• Knowledge of writing scripts for automating UI screens
• Strong knowledge of Linux, good at Linux commands
• Ability to learn and master any technology, language, or testing environment
• Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with minimal oversight and direction
• Should be familiar with the version control tools/source code management tools
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be a team player and should be able to work with diverse teams locally and globally
