About the role:
The Project
Management Tech Analyst role will be change maker to support various aspects of
our project management and technical operations to increase the productivity
and effectiveness of our delivery and support operations; with direct
responsibilities in areas of project management systems implementations,
configuration customizations, and process automation, to accelerate technology
adaptions in project management, associated reporting analytics; overall
increasing Employee effectiveness, bridging the strategy-to-execution gap, and
bringing insights on value flows. Our ideal candidate will be an excellent

results, and has a passion for helping people get the support they need. This
is an exciting opportunity for an entry-level person with an entrepreneurial
spirit looking to accomplish strategic excellence, and maturity, in project
management practices and techniques, leadership capabilities, and change
management. Key Role Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Leverage
systems and technology, to enhance institutionalization of various PM systems
like Project Management Systems, Service Desks, Reports and Analytics tools,
etc.; be apt at configuring such systems for increasing PM operational
efficiencies and effectiveness
- Accelerate
systemization of PMO guidelines, templates, and processes, maintain reports
repositories, and evolve indexing process for rapid retrievals, and audit for
consistency, completeness, and correctness
- Accelerate
Digital integration i.e. leverage technology to increase efficiency and
effectiveness to increase business value. Collate and structure datasets for
Project/Support Operations and functional aspects, so to create progress
reports and dashboards, and communicate data into valuable information to
influence decision-making processes
- Drive
Process Automations initiatives, and may utilize MS Office related automation
and macro writing possibilities, to templatize and make day to day works more
efficient so that it takes less time to prepare reports and there more time for
analysis; and institutionalize Agile and Lean practices and techniques
- Drive
increasing systemization, customizations, and workflow
automation/semi-automation, of project/operations management and customer
support operations management systems and follow-through for acceptance and
adaption of technological solutions in the workflows
- Create
user guide cheat sheets, to make it easier, for people to follow the systems,
and conduct periodic quizzes, audits, and training workshops to increase
learning and effectiveness of the solutions
- Collate suggestions
for improvements, and conduct periodic surveys and retrospectives to identify
improvement opportunities in the project operations workflows and drive
continual improvements
- Support business
value assessments, analytics, and insights i.e. model business value streams,
measurement point markers, and establish correlations between the
projects/operations and the organizations key strategic priorities.
- Support data mining,
and business analytics, to evaluate interdependencies between the projects, the
benefits, and the success criteria.
- Conduct root cause
analysis (RCA),for significant or chronic deviations issues, to determine most significant root causes,
and determine corrective actions and preventive actions(CAPA);
- Collaborate with
cross-functional teams to follow-through through for implementation of CAPA and
post improvements impacts/benefits analysis
- Maintain historical
project performance measures, including productivity, schedules and quality,
their associated estimates.
- Systemize the
process for comparing historical data for similar current/newer projects for
cross-validation of schedules, costs, quality, and other project-related
factors; using experiences to enhance current risk mitigation plans and for
continual improvements for enhancing performance predictabilities.
- Establish
correlation between the 3 constrains of project management i.e. cost, schedule,
and quality; and model the impacts of variations; to identify major contributors
to variations, and drive continual improvements in project/operations
performance
- Support project
management excellence initiatives, support institutionalization of PMO
guidelines and project management practices, across all phases, and track process/system
adherences; and support continual improvements
- Provide deputizing
support for PMO Leadership or management, for coordinating various
organizational transformation, and/or continual improvements initiative; and
may take-up scrum master role, under guidance, when required/necessary in a
competent and confident manner
- Reports
consolidations and management dashboards to provide a summary report of all the
projects and operations workstreams, as a powerful tool for the management to quickly understand the status and areas of
concern, especially when time is limited
General Requirements:
- B.Sc. – Computer
Science, Information Technology, or
BBA/BMS candidates, with demonstrable technical abilities; and exhibited interest in
project/operations management, and change management
- Additional relevant
certifications in project management, operations management, change management,
etc., preferred (or be willing to learn and utilize)
- Freshers with
typical 3 to 6 months relevant internship experience preferred
- Good understanding
of people's motivators, personality types, and behavioral aspects
- Strong
organizational skills and a keen attention to detail; and the ability to work
effectively and manage a varied workload and prioritizes with a high sense of
urgency
- Understanding Lean and quality tools for process improvements, statistical concepts, and
analysis, is preferred
- Excellent verbal,
written, and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate
effectively across the organization with various teams, and management; along
with high attention to detail
- Strong MS – Office
skills, along with data mining, data analytics, and graphical visualization
abilities
- Demonstrate customer
centricity with willingness to support both internal and external customers;
and ability to maintain the high level of discretion, diplomacy and
confidentiality; ability to identify roadblocks and either clear them or
escalate to upper management
- Tech-Savvy
and proficient in Microsoft Office automations (e.g. excel macros etc.),project management; ability to maintain the highest level of discretion,
diplomacy and confidentiality.
- Eagerness
to learn, develop and grow with the business; is contributions oriented; and
flexible and willing to work off-hours when required to meet deadlines
- Team player willing
to pivot quickly with a nimbleness; and have strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interface with technical and non-technical
members of the organization
