Primary Purpose:

The Technical Support Executive will ideally possess 0~1 years of strong technical experience with Certified on CCNA, CCNP, MCP, MCSA, MCSE in the areas of Desktop, Laptop, Server, monitoring tools, Solar Winds, ticketing tools.

The candidate should have a good attitude and Customer handling skill.

Primary responsibility includes handling desktop, laptop and basic network issues at the client end.

Good verbal and written communication skills, good listening habit and patience in handing customer aggressiveness is important.

Principle Responsibilities:

1) Operation System Installation, configurations and troubleshooting working knowledge on Win7/Win8/Win10 and Server 2008/2012/2016

2) Troubleshooting and installation of printers, scanners

3) Office and Business application client installation and configuration.

4) Installation / configuration/archive of outlook e-mail client

5) Basic knowledge of ticketing tool to assign, update and close calls in tool.

6) Antivirus client installation and Definition update.

7) Microsoft patches and service pack update on the system.

8) Awareness Information security policy and adherence

9) Coordination with IT vendor for warranty support and call logging.

10) Good communication skill verbal, email.

11) Escalating IT issues to next the level where necessary and keep the user informed on call.

12) Basic Understanding of LAN network and troubleshooting.

13) Configuration of basic router and wireless access point

Skills – Must have

1) IP and IP-sub-netting knowledge

2) Hand on experience on desktop assembly and windows operating system installation

3) VPN, VLAN, DHCP, DNS knowledge

4) Working knowledge on Active Directory (Creation/Suspension of Users, Organizational the unit, service accounts and password reset),domain servers/DNS, domain controllers, IP addressing/DHCP

5) Excellent remote troubleshooting skills (Laptop, Desktop, Printers, servers, storage, backups)

6) Ability to communicate at all levels, both technical and non-technical

7) Ability to perform well as part of a team under direct & indirect supervision

8) Good communication skills (active listening skills),documentation skills, able to articulate and speak with a clear voice

9) Attitude to Seek out new assignments and additional job duties, especially those outside normal work area.
